Mennonite Spiritual Directors Network

Anyone from the Anabaptist Mennonite faith tradition who supports the ministry of spiritual direction may join the network.
In addition to trained spiritual directors in active ministry, this includes spiritual directors-in-training, those with training who are not currently offering direction. retired directors, and those who support this ministry in other ways.

Steps to becoming a member

  1. Request membership. Membership provides you with a MennoSDN website account. Begin the process by clicking on the “Become a member” button below.
    • Complete the Request Membership form.
      • Submit the request by clicking on “Register” when the form is complete.
    • Next, complete the “Membership Database Form.
      • This information is used for the directory of spiritual directors. As a member, your information will be visible to MennoSDN members.
      • Click on the “Update Information” button at the bottom of the application form when the form is complete.
  2. You will receive an email from the MennoSDN administrator indicating acceptance, or not, of the membership request. If accepted, you will be able to login to the MennoSDN website.
  3. (Optional) complete the application for the Public List of Mennonite Spiritual Directors.
    • Becoming a part of the Public List starts with a separate application which is available under the “For Members” menu after completing the membership application process and you are logged in to the MennoSDN website.

Once logged in, members have access to:

  • their website user account to update password or email address
  • their MSDN Membership Database page, to keep their spiritual direction ministry information current
  • the Members List with information from all members of the Network — active, retired, students
  • application for listing in the Public List of available MSDN spiritual directors

After joining the Network, members may apply to be listed in the Public List of available MSDN spiritual directors, a resource for those seeking Anabaptist Mennonite spiritual directors. The application process includes submitting information about your training, references and an administrative fee. Being part of the Network does not guarantee inclusion on the Public List.
