Description of Practice
I am an RN with an M.Div. Having spent many years overseas with MCC and EMM, I enjoy supporting those serving overseas or those in transition. I am comfortable doing spiritual direction via zoom or in person. I generally meet with people in my home.
Retreats
I lead 4 silent retreats each year with Donna Holstein (also a spiritual director) at Mariawald Renewal Center, Reading, PA We include art, spiritual practices, and offer input and guidance. We have a website and a blog offering online Advent and Lent blog retreats 3 times per week. Website is Sacred Rhythms: https://www.practicingsacredrhythms.com/. A Tending Place is my own retreat space in my home in Lancaster City. Website: https://tendingplace.weebly.com/ References needed if I don't know the person. Guests may come and go as they wish. They may have their own personal retreat or I am available for spiritual direction. Art and photography are special interests of mine and I use them as contemplate practices. I make lap finger labyrinths with broken shells and glass.
Availability
I am available to offer spiritual guidance to women, men, students, and persons from other cultures. I am especially interested in making spiritual direction accessible to all people, particularly persons of low income.
